This Adidas Ajax home shirt comes from the 2009-10 season. The club's broad red central panel is bordered by white side sections and sleeves, with Adidas shoulder stripes, the Ajax crest and AEGON sponsor completing the familiar Amsterdam design.

Under head coach Martin Jol, Ajax missed the 2009-10 Eredivisie title by one point despite scoring 106 league goals and conceding only four at home. Luis Suárez led the attack with 35 goals in 34 league appearances. The campaign still ended with silverware as Ajax defeated Feyenoord in the KNVB Cup final, placing this home design within a remarkable high-scoring season.
