This Argentina home shirt from the 2010-11 season, produced by Adidas, features the traditional white and light blue vertical stripes with a white crew-neck collar and white Adidas shoulder stripes. It includes Climacool technology and the Lionel Messi #10 nameset on the back.

Messi started all five Argentina matches at the 2010 World Cup but did not score as Diego Maradona's side reached the quarter-finals. At the 2011 Copa América on home soil, he again played in every Argentina match. The run ended in the quarter-finals after a 1-1 draw with Uruguay and a 5-4 defeat in the penalty shoot-out in Santa Fe.
