Adidas' 2018-19 Juventus away shirt replaces the famous black-and-white home stripes with a soft sand colour. A buttoned collar and black-and-white detailing at the sleeve ends bring some of the club's traditional visual language back into the alternative design. RONALDO #7 appears on this example from Cristiano Ronaldo's first season in Turin. The quieter colour treatment makes it markedly different from the home shirt associated with Juventus.

Ronaldo arrived from Real Madrid in summer 2018, bringing five Champions League titles and a long record of goals to Turin. Under Massimiliano Allegri, Juventus won the Serie A title for the eighth consecutive season. Ronaldo also scored the goals that overturned a first-leg deficit against Atlético Madrid in the Champions League round of 16. Ajax ended Juventus's European run in the quarter-finals, but the season marked the start of a new chapter for the club.
