Umbro's Olympiacos home shirt from 2004-05 is built around the club's red-and-white vertical stripes, continued across the sleeves and back. A red collar frames the upper body, with the crest, Umbro mark and Siemens Mobile sponsor on the front. The photographed reverse carries RIVALDO above a large black number 5 and a Citi mark lower down. The nameset is a visible feature of this example, while the striped design remains the heart of the shirt.

Rivaldo joined Olympiacos in summer 2004, bringing a former World Player of the Year to Piraeus. The club opened its season at the refurbished Karaiskakis stadium and competed in the Champions League. Olympiacos later won both the Greek league and cup, with Rivaldo scoring twice in the cup final against Aris. The shirt belongs to an eventful first year in Greece for the Brazilian and a domestic double for the club.
