The 2022-23 season brought Rangers back to Hampden Park for the Scottish League Cup final, where they faced rivals Celtic for the trophy. Despite a battling display, Rangers were beaten 2-1, leaving their wait for a first League Cup triumph since 2010-11 to continue.
