A white Nike Swoosh and the Sparta crest provide the main chest contrast, while the clean short sleeves keep the focus on the striped texture.

Sparta reached the UEFA Europa League play-offs after progressing through two qualifying rounds. Their final tie began with a 2-0 defeat away to Vaslui. Sparta won the return match 1-0 in Prague, but the Romanian side advanced 2-1 on aggregate. UEFA's season record lists four Sparta matches in the competition, with three wins and one defeat before elimination at the play-off stage.
