The 2018-19 Wolfsburg home shirt by Nike uses a dark-green body with brighter green lines radiating across the chest. A blue-and-silver Volkswagen mark stands at the centre, and the Bundesliga badge is visible on the sleeve. ROUSSILLON and number 15 appear on the back in white with light-green outlines. Despite the vivid graphic, the design remains unmistakably Wolfsburg through its green palette and prominent club crest.

Jérôme Roussillon arrived from Montpellier in summer 2018 and quickly became part of Wolfsburg's left side. Under Bruno Labbadia, the team recovered from two difficult league campaigns and finished sixth in the Bundesliga. That placing returned Wolfsburg to European competition, making 2018-19 an important reset for the club. The shirt belongs to the season in which a new arrival and a revived side helped change its direction.
