Ajax's 2021-22 away shirt by adidas combines broad vertical stripes in two shades of blue with fine mint-coloured lines. The mint adidas logo, shoulder stripes, Ajax crest and Ziggo sponsor continue the same contrast across the upper body. A dark neckline frames the design, while the back uses a calmer blue area with the three Amsterdam crosses near the neck. The mix of broad stripes and fine lines gives the shirt a clearly defined away identity.

Ajax introduced this design on 9 May 2021 against Feyenoord, shortly after securing the league-and-cup double in the preceding season. The club linked its striped appearance to earlier away shirts, placing the 2021-22 design within a longer tradition of striped Ajax kits.
