Nike's AS Roma home shirt for 2017-18 uses a deep red body with yellow at the shoulders, swoosh and club crest. The sponsor-free front gives the colours and badge room to stand on their own, while darker raglan sleeves and side detailing add texture. 'Roma siamo noi' is printed inside the collar. The plain back maintains the same restrained treatment, making this a particularly clean version of the Giallorossi's home identity.

Roma's season became memorable for their Champions League run under Eusebio Di Francesco. After losing 4-1 away to Barcelona in the quarter-finals, Roma won 3-0 at the Stadio Olimpico to reach the semi-finals on away goals. Edin Džeko, Daniele De Rossi and Kostas Manolas scored in that comeback. Liverpool ended the run in the last four, but the Barcelona night remains one of the club's defining European moments.
