Puma's Borussia Dortmund home shirt for 2022-23 puts the club's yellow-and-black colours at the front of the design. The crest and sponsor sit within a look built for the atmosphere of Signal Iduna Park and its Yellow Wall. HALLER #9 is the player detail on this example, linking the shirt to Sébastien Haller's first Dortmund season. The kit itself is a continuation of one of German football's most instantly recognisable colour combinations.

Haller joined Dortmund from Ajax in summer 2022 but missed the opening part of the campaign while undergoing treatment for cancer. He returned to competitive football in January 2023 and became part of a dramatic Bundesliga title race. Dortmund entered the final day with the championship in their hands before Bayern edged them on goal difference. The shirt comes from a season remembered as much for Haller's comeback as for that tense finish.
