Puma's Borussia Mönchengladbach home shirt for 2019-20 starts with a white base and layers a dramatic black-and-green smoke-effect graphic over the front. The print was presented as a pyrotechnic-inspired reference to the atmosphere created by the club's supporters. A white crew neck, Puma branding, the diamond crest and Postbank sponsor complete the bold home design.

Gladbach spent much of the season in the Bundesliga's leading group and finished fourth, securing a return to the Champions League. Marco Rose's side collected 65 points and sealed qualification with a final-day victory over Hertha Berlin. Marcus Thuram, Alassane Plea and captain Lars Stindl were among the attacking figures in a campaign that restored the club to Europe's elite competition.
