Everton's 2007-08 away shirt by Umbro uses a white body with dark detailing around the collar and shoulders. The dark Umbro double diamond and club crest sit above the green Chang sponsor, which gives the chest its strongest colour accent. Arteta's name and number 6 are printed on the back, and Premier League patches are visible on the sleeves. The otherwise restrained design leaves those player and sponsor details clearly defined against the light base.

Everton's 2007-08 season included a 7-1 home win over Sunderland at Goodison Park in November. Yakubu and Tim Cahill each scored twice, with Steven Pienaar, Andrew Johnson and Leon Osman also on the scoresheet.
