France's 2004-06 home shirt by adidas brings together a blue body, white shoulder stripes and sweeping red panels around the sides. A narrow red line crosses the upper chest between the adidas logo and the cockerel crest. Zidane's name and number 10 appear on the back, with a further number 10 on the front. The gold-coloured crest and star provide a smaller accent within a design built around the French blue, white and red.

Zinedine Zidane produced one of UEFA EURO 2004's memorable finishes when his two late goals turned France's opening match against England into a 2-1 win. France later reached the quarter-finals, where Greece ended their defence of the European title.
