This Adidas France home shirt comes from the 2009-10 international period. The shirt carries the familiar blue identity of Les Bleus, with Adidas branding and the French crest providing its defining national-team details. It belongs to the qualifying campaign and finals period surrounding the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.

France reached that World Cup through a two-legged play-off against the Republic of Ireland, winning 2-1 on aggregate after extra time. The finals were far more difficult: Raymond Domenech’s team drew with Uruguay, lost to Mexico and were beaten 2-1 by hosts South Africa, finishing bottom of Group A. Florent Malouda scored France’s only goal of the tournament in the final group match. Hugo Lloris, Patrice Evra and Franck Ribéry were among the squad’s established names.
