This Germany away shirt from the 2020-21 season, produced by Adidas, features a fully black base with black Germany and Adidas logos and German flag inspired sleeve cuffs. The design includes a black V-neck collar.

Germany used this away identity during the period containing UEFA EURO 2020, staged in summer 2021. Joachim Löw's side progressed from a difficult group with France, Portugal and Hungary before losing 2-0 to England in the round of 16 at Wembley. The match proved to be Löw's final game after 15 years as national-team coach, closing a major era in German football. Germany's group results also included a 4-2 win over Portugal and a 2-2 draw with Hungary.
