New Balance produced this Republic of Ireland home shirt for the 2019-20 international period. The Eden Green body carries fine tonal pinstripes, with coordinated green detail around the collar and sleeves. Gold edging frames the federation crest, adding a refined accent beside the New Balance mark. The clean colour scheme places Ireland's traditional green at the centre of the design.

Ireland finished third in their UEFA Euro 2020 qualifying group on 13 points, behind Switzerland and Denmark, and entered the play-offs. Their semi-final away to Slovakia remained goalless through extra time. Slovakia converted all four of their penalties, while Ireland missed twice, ending the campaign with a 4-2 shoot-out defeat and leaving the side outside the delayed final tournament.
