This Adidas Maribor home shirt comes from the 2016-17 season. A deep purple body is crossed by a broad yellow chevron band that carries the Adidas logo and club crest. Yellow also appears on the crew neck, cuffs and underarm panels, while three purple Adidas stripes run through the yellow side inserts.
Maribor reclaimed Slovenia's league title during this campaign. The Slovenian federation records that the team celebrated its fourteenth national championship and closed the season by beating Krško 1-0 at Ljudski vrt, with Dino Hotić scoring in the 45th minute. UEFA's club record likewise lists Maribor's most recent league title at the time as the 2017 triumph.
