This Netherlands away shirt from the 2018-19 season, produced by Nike, features a light blue base with diagonal tonal pinstripes forming a chevron pattern across the front. It has a V-neck collar, dark blue Nike swoosh, and KNVB lion crest on the chest, with plain light blue sleeves and back completing the design.

The Netherlands reached the inaugural UEFA Nations League final in June 2019. Ronald Koeman's side came from behind to beat England 3-1 after extra time in the semi-final, then lost the final 1-0 to hosts Portugal in Porto through Gonçalo Guedes' 60th-minute goal. Frenkie de Jong was subsequently named the tournament's Young Player of the Tournament by UEFA.
