The red base carries fine tonal pinstripes, with gold Adidas shoulder stripes, branding and trim reflecting the champions' gold-themed identity. A crew neck and the Spain crest complete the front, while Fernando Torres's number 9 nameset links the shirt to the World Cup-winning striker.

Spain's defence of the World Cup ended in the group stage after defeats to the Netherlands and Chile. Torres started against Chile and scored as a substitute in the closing 3-0 win over Australia. That was his 38th and final international goal; he concluded his Spain career with 110 caps and three major tournament titles.
